Karl arrived in my life in July 2023 as a tiny seven-week-old rescue who had been brought into my store in hopes of finding a new family. He made his own decision almost immediately. Karl chose to stay.

From the very beginning, he worked tirelessly to fit into my world. He adapted to the routines, greeted clients, charmed the staff, and embraced every opportunity to demonstrate that he was not simply looking for a home. He was showing me that he was best-friend material.

With more than twenty years of passionate work in the pet industry, I thought I had experienced and learned it all. Karl proved otherwise. Through his curiosity, resilience, and unwavering loyalty, he continues to teach me new lessons every day about communication, trust, patience, and the joy that comes from truly seeing and supporting each animal as an individual.
